Hi I am having trouble installing the theme to drupal. It is asking for the tar tgz gz bz2 extension but I only have the zip file. Is there a way to convert it so that it will accept it?

Do you mean the import databse file? if you are using phpmyadmin, you can import database using zip file, if your tool requires other extension, you can extract the file then compress it again with the extension you want.
