Installing Demo site

I've just purchased the Evolve theme and trying to do a full install on a new site to use the demo content. I've tried to follow the steps in the documentation: created the database, imported the database.sql.zip file into it, copied the content from the Demo folder to the server and added the database details to the settings.php file and but I'm just getting an Internal Server error message. Can you give any more details on what I might be doing wrong?

I'm trying to set it up in a subdomain of my main site if that makes any difference to how I set it up?

Here's the error message. I installed Drupal ok on the subdomain using my hosting companies one-click script service and that was working fine, it's just when copying in the demo content over that it stopped working so I've done something wrong somewhere. Should the Demo folder content replace everything in the root folder of the install, or should it sit as it's own directory within the root?

I think the error came from your server configuration, it not come from theme. You might lose .htaccess under website root folder. Please check it. Thanks!
