problems w/uploading new logo and changing theme related settings

i have managed to install this with the both the first and second ways listed in the documentation (full and/or profile). unfortunately when it comes to updating something as simple as the logo or layout the site goes out into a death spiral of waiting to reply. updating nodes is no problem, but alas when i go to update anything that has to do with the theme or sub-theme i cannot get the website to respond. please help this theme looks cool but it's not working. i have purchased many other themes from here (pluto,expressa) and they fine are out of the box with my current environment which is shared hosting at midphase. filewarden1.xtreamsolution.com Info Drupal 7.28 OK Access to update.php Protected OK CKEditor 4.3.3 OK CTools CSS Cache Exists OK Configuration file Protected OK Cron maintenance tasks Last run 22 min 11 sec ago You can run cron manually.
