How can I disable modules that are required by Jollyness but unneccessary for me and overhead to site's performance e.g. modules forum and advanced forum?
Any update on this, anyone? My website is performing very slowly after installing dozens of unneccesary modules and I would not be happy to upgrade my hosting service just because of this.
I tried it on a dev site and it seems to work...so disable dexp_jollyness nothing wil change...after that, you can disable for example the dexp twitter module...
I experience the same problem with corposs. I have to enable dexp_corposs in other to have the dexp_views. But I am not interested for example in fivestar module. I am also not interested in some custom node types you made (clients etc.). Why can you not decouple by locig? This means:
Hello,
You can easy to disbale unneccessary modules in modules manage page. There is no problem.
Cheers.
If it would be that easy I would not have asked. The check boxes to disable these modules are grayed out.
I think that is because you have Drupalexp Jollyness
(dexp_jollyness) enabled...don't knwo if it is safe to disable...try it on a dev site...
isn't that required by the template because it came with it? I did not have forum and many other modules enabled before Jollyness template.
Can a maintainer confirm this?
You can always disable directly in the database but that is kinda tricky and wouldn't recommend that.

I asked this question before too for the corposs theme....
It would be really helpful when the developers take users feedback serious

- MUST: Basic functions needed (e.g. dexp_views)
- MUST: Theme layout itself
- Optional: Custom Node Types (e.g. testimonial, clients,)
- Optional: Modules not needed for theming, e.g. fivestar
Any update on this, anyone? Can I really disable dexp_jollyness? Is that the recommended workaround?
