Zap - Layer Slider

Has anyone used the layer slider in the ZAP theme? I have used in in some of the other drupalexp themes but the layer slider in this theme is not working. I can not upload the background image, I also can not add a layer to my slide.
   I have tried different browsers, no luck. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem with drupal and drupalexp in ZAP theme.

Hi caldridge1,

We are sorry for this issue. There is an issue with creating new slider in Zap theme. We will fix it soon. Please open  a ticket then I will send you an export slider file that I exported to import to your site for using first. we will send you an update of slider module after fixing the issue.

I have the same problem. I downloaded the update but it still doesn't work.

I had the same issue.  If you donwload the latest theme and go to yoursite.com/admin/config/development/jquery_update and make sure that the admin theme.  In my case the admin theme is called Seven is distinctly using JQuery 1.7.  Then the background images work.
