ok, yes, sorry about that, i just deactivate the site (removed the DNS record) as there is many errors in the watchdog table. I recreated the database, re-import the database and use my computer's host name (instead of the public domain name), and same, i can view each single page, but unable to login as admin. here is something in the watchdog table. by the way, do you need to view some other logs?

just want to add one thing, in order for troubleshooting, I tried login as admin with a "wrong" password and it shows error about "unrecognized user name ....", and if i input the correct pass which is "admin" and got access denied error. any idea? not sure what causes this, also when i refresh the watchdog table, lots of access deny error and some are even related to cron, not sure why...

also tried those solutions such as "$cookie_domain" or "$base_url" , none work for me. anyway, it's late now i'll have to go to bed and will check back tomorrow. thanks for your help.

I am suspecting the database may not fully imported. how many tables should be imported? i tried import the database few times via phpmyadmin, each time it took very long, some times i can tell the database was not fully imported as there is no message indication after the import, but some times it did show message like the following. does this means the database is correctly imported? I don't have url/ftp username/pass to send as this is a local installation on my local computer.(windows /Apache2.4(Win32)/ PHP5.6/MySql5.6.) any other place i should check, like php.ini file?

Hi, for troubleshooting purpose, to test, i just reinstalled another D7 theme (block, fyi) that I purchased from themforest, followed the full demo installation doc and all works perfect!!! I'm able to view the page, log in and edit the admin pass and etc... for sure there is something wrong with this theme not working on my system. is there any new version for this theme? or what else should i try???

OK, I believe the latest version of this theme has issues and it's NOT work. I've tried install other D7 themes in the same environment and worked very well. tried clear cache, empty cache tables and of course restart Apache each single time whenever there is some minor changes. this theme just doesn't work. here are more screenshots that I tried reset a normal user's pass via phpmyadmin and got the same results. i even tried type wrong pass to see the error. hope this helps for you to get it fixed. thanks

I had tried reinstall a fresh drupal commerce_kickstart into my system, fully functional and worked very well. pls refer to the first screen shot. this means there is NO problem for my server environment! so i tried reinstall a fresh drupal 7 with the Profile installation option but funny thing is, even I created my own drupal admin account after the Drupal installation, the site still not allow me to login as admin, still get access deny error. I also tried install theme only option, but then the site is totally a mess without any views/pages/blocks and etc I'll have to figure it all out and this is not the purpose for buying this theme. it's totally waste of my time (couple of days and nights work). I need a refund. I'll send request via either your email and via the themeforest.

We don't know what happen on your localhost that make the theme does not work. Many guys bought our theme and it works fine. Could you please deploy it on server and give us your cpanel information, we will help you to check and install the theme for you. Thanks!

I had the same problem (not able to login as admin) after install a fresh Drupal(drupal-7.32.tar ) version, but i applied the fix of " $cookie_domain" for the settings.php file and it worked fine for that. so again, i did the full demo installation for your theme with that "$cookie_domain" fix in place in the settings.php file but still not able to get the site function. still not able to login as admin, i checked the session table and find out there is only one entry in the table, pls refer to the screenshot, is there anything i can try?

with the fresh functional Drupal 7 .32 working, i installed your theme as profile only but failed. this theme is just don't work for me. is that possible for you to send me the older version of this theme and I'd try if the full demo installation work or not? thanks.

thanks for your response. here is what i did today. i installed a fresh copy of fresh Drupal(drupal-7.32.tar ) version, and slso applied the fix of " $cookie_domain" for the settings.php file and it worked fine. after, i load the backup_migrate module and all worked fine. then, instead of import your database via phpmyadmin, I import it from within the site by doing the "restore from backup" function and guess what? i was able to view and configure the site under my site admin account, i also able to run cron as well. but, just want to see if everything working fine, i logged off the site, and then tried login back but failed, again, got access denied error! tried clear browser cache, cookie, and empty all cache talbles via phpmyadmin, also empty the flood table. still, I no longer able to login. what do you think that cause the problem? any clues? I'd like to send you my server info but really not sure how as it's a local machine and no FTP running. what should do? or maybe via RDP? thanks.

This is the second site I bought from Envato/Themeforest that is nothing but trouble. Other themes I have purchased I have no problems whatsoever and they have been smooth as a baby's bottom. All of the steps that case-div describes above have left me with the same result: Access Denied...

Hello again. today once again, I tried reinstall a fresh copy of Drupal 7.32, applied fix " $cookie_domain" to settings.php file to make it work and stable. after verified everything working fine then i installed and enabled the backup_migrate module and import your database from the site restore section not from phpmyadmin, and without logging off, tested, updated, ran cron, ran database update scrip and did all necessary steps etc to make it work, so it looks like all working fine without logging off the admin user. while stay logged in under IE, I opened another browser (FF) and to test if i can login, then the symptom is that every menu link and user login link return a "Hello World" page. any idea why this happening? can you give some advise to see where to check? look, it's been about two weeks after purchase this theme, I still cannot make it completely work, this is not a working stable theme although you mentioned it works on other peoples system, but to me, I had purchased other themes and Drupal-commerce themes, all had no problem running on my system. please see the screen shot from different browser. P.S.: I am always clear cache, cookie, and etc, I'm a regular Drupal user and had successful build Drupal5, 6, and 7 site for my clients before.

Hello, There is some simple step to install demo of this theme. 1. Copy Demo folder in package to your web folder, then rename it to "jollyness" or anything else. In case you need have latest version of Drupal you can download latest version of drupal, then copy "sites" folder in Demo into it). 2. Create new database, do import sample data in database.sql.zip (located in Packages folder). 3. Open settings.php and correct database settings (database name, database username and database password). That all, then you can run http://localhost/jollyness?q=user (default admin account is username: admin, password: admin). delete "maintenance-page.tpl.php" under templates folder, flush cache, and then click every page and link and admin login under FF browser turned into this-see the screen shot. P.S: i am still logged in as admin under IE. and hello admin, i followed all the steps mentioned above last few days but it did not work, only different is that my server's document root is "htdos" under "httpd.conf" file on apache, and the document root for virtul host under "httpd-vhosts.conf" is my drupal folder and my host name of the computer is 'DIV'. is this might cause problem? if i set all the document root as my drupal folder then i can't access phpmyadmin so i had to specify document root as htdocs in the file httpd.conf and phpmyadmin folder is under it. hope this does not cause the problem. any clue? thanks

thank you Tallon for your help. yes, after apply the solution (by using Chrome Inspect Element, resource and delete the cookie ), it works, but it only work under Chrome, plus, if i log off the admin user, then not able to login back (access denied), i have to apply your solution again. THIS IS NOT A WORKING THEME! it did not work under IE, neither FF, I simply cannot accept this type of fix that can only work under Chrome, can you accept that a site need you to do extra work for just login to it? I am working on the site that need visitor to be able to register an account and login. It's enough, I've tried many hours and I don't want to try again, I now request a refund and I'll need to buy another theme. see the screen shot, admin or jimmy please, it's waste of my time!

I was having some of the same issues as the posters above, so here's how I fixed it: you need to enable clean urls. Put this file https://code.google.com/p/drupalgooglecode/source/browse/trunk/.htaccess in your public folder (or where ever you're trying to install the demo). Then navigate to localhost//?q=admin/config/search/clean-urls and all your problems will magically disappear.

Update: I am no longer PERM locked out (solution below). but I still have to do the process to access the site after loging out. Steps - 1: Clear ALL Cache in Drupal... you will not be able to because you are loged out but if you use drush then navigate to your site directory using Terminal and type in "drush cc all". 2: While on the /user page - Clear your browser cache (CMD+R). 3:Go to your login page domain.com/user -> Proceed to clear the cache from your browser using the following steps (WHILE on the /USER page) -> http://lyemium.com/content/how-log-after-receiving-access-denied-messag… 4: Use your login Credentials and you should be good.
