Splash vs. devel_themer module

I am unable to get the devel_themer module to work with this theme. When I enable it (and it's accompanying modules, of course) the front page of Splash goes white, BUT the search bar shows. Can you see if you can get devel_themer to work on Splash from your end? This is a critical module that I use. Thank you, Dan

Let me be more general. Has ANYONE tried using the devel_themer module with the Splash theme? If so, were you successful? Thank you, Dan

The problem was an incompatibility with Simplehtmldom API 7.x-2.x as described here: https://www.drupal.org/node/2199439
