Shortcodes in Eventus theme not working, checked every configuration area that I know of

We purchased the Eventus theme, and we're trying to use shortcodes. They are not working. Here's a video demonstration:

p.s. I submitted this on Monday as a support ticket, #1918, but haven't gotten any response. Is the ticketing system in use?
