No IMCE with Layer slider

Hello, Elsewhere on the site IMCE/Media browser is working fine but not with the Layer slider. I tried using JQuery 1.7 through 1.10 without success and permissions are OK. I still can upload images but the address is absolute which will be a problem when deploying the site. Thanks.
