image in mega menu

You should create a block and put your images to this block. After that, assign block to menu such as guide line from http://docs.drupalexp.com/palas/#!/using_mega_menu

i can't seem to get it. if i register the block containing the image in the navigation region it appears, but it completely blows up the navbar (i only did that to see if it would render). otherwise, after i have attached it to the menu item, it simply doesn't render.

thank you, lehoa, for taking the time to produce that demonstration. that fixed it. i wasn't checking the "show expanded on load" box in the attach block configuration so the image didn't render.
