How can I change the style for my costumed article content type?

when preview, they look identical. but the displays under a menu item are totally different

Hi ericwytp, Please see our suggession: 1. For Latest work, you SHOULD use pre-define content type called "portfolio" in Evolve theme. This was created to do things such as: show featured, recent or all the work of company. It's very suitable for this case. 2. Article content type is used to show articles. So, don't duplicate one for Latest work. 3. Style of articles is NOT apply for other content type. So, it seems missing style when showing duplicate article data. Hi! I want to make something similar. I want to duplicate the portfolio content type and call it something like features (so I can then show the different features on the parallax view after copying the view too I presume :P ) so I have made a new content type and used the same fields as in portfolio and display. and then, copied the node--dexp_portfolio.tpl.php and changed with the feature content type machine name... of course, it didn´t worked... :( So Is there any chance you can explain me how to do it? I know it´s maybe a newbie question but would be clarifying. I was thinking of clonig the parallax view, include a new taxonomy term in the portfolio content type and hack it that way :P Thanks in advance, great, great theme, beautifully ejecuted and the drupalexp framework is life saving for non programmers as me. 5 starred indeed.

Hi usaginyunyu, Duplicating portfolio content type is not a good way. It is hard to manage and make the system inconsistency. With your requirement, you SHOULD clone a feature project view and add a taxonomy term to Filter criteria. After that, you can filter by any term you want. NOTE: When adding a new taxonomy term, you should choose This block (override) in Add filter criteria form. Thanks,

I´ve restaurated the demo version (yep, when I cloned the portfolio content type, views broke up and didn´t show anymore with this type of content type... ) and i´ve cloned the parallax view for featured projects in the home with the filter criteria: taxonomy added and the same for the related project view and everything is going smooth and beautiful :) thanks But now, since everything is under portfolio taxonomy and portfolio content type seems weird for the opperative of the page... I presume I can not change the machine name, right?, but could I change the display name? so it could be something like ->Products(Portfolio) machine name: dexp_portfolio and the same for portfolio taxonomy? You can edit display name of content type or testimonial by yourself. Please see attached files for more details.

Hi usaginyunyu, When a content type or taxonomy is created before, you can: - Change the display name of a content type (CAN NOT change machine name) - Change BOTH display name and machine name for taxonomy (but SHOULD NOT change machine name) Thanks,

I was asuming that changing the machine name was baaaaaaaaaaaaad idea. But didn´t know if the display name was important too. Thanks for the aclaration :) Have a great day and thanks again
