Hi,
I installed Evolve in my current Drupal site as theme only following the docs instructions:
1.- Copy both the evolve and drupalexp themes (located in package at Packages/themes) into your sites theme directory (sites/all/themes)..
2.- Install and enable jquery_update module and change jQuery version to 1.7
3.- Enable the evolve theme from Appearance menu.
But, i am not able to see many things, for example:
1.- Shortcodes
In Configuration → Text Formats → Full HTML → Configure, I am not seeing the same as documentation provides. I am not seeing anything related to shortcodes here, like they were not installed or activated.
2.- In main-menu, I don't see the option of adding an icon like the documentation says..
In general, I think I'm missing a lot of evolve options that are not appearing and I don't know why...
Please help
Thanks in advance
Ok, I installed the module "shortcode" and now I see some options, but none the evolve ones as "accordion", etc
I only see these options:
Enable Quote shortcode
Enable Imagen shortcode
Enable Highlight shortcode
Enable Button shortcode
Enable Dropcap shortcode
Enable Item shortcode
Enable Clear shortcode
Enable Enlace shortcode
Enable Random text shortcode
Enable Embed content shortcode
Enable Video macro shortcode
I just did this earlier this week. You will also want to copy over the libaries/appear folder.
Directions should be updated on theme only section:
Which modules need to be installed and enabled.
Copy over the appear library.
Enable the shortcodes filters.
Love the theme though but directions are incomplete if you want to start with a blank theme.
I created two demo installations -- once with the full demo theme and once with a core drupal and theme only and needed modules/libraries. Then I can login into demo site, see how something is done on the demo and then go back and implement it in the core drupal & theme.
When you import and enable the modules, that should generate the views needed to create the various features. Make sure you clear all caches before going to the trouble to create something that the module makes for you.
This is not directed at you, but I must say that the support here is less than ideal. Over 2 months with no answer to my question? Thankfully, I was able to figure it out myself.
In defense of the developers, it seems like they go through periods of intensive activity, creating new themes, updating modules, etc. Then they do a whole blast of responsiveness. If you find them during their responsive mode, they're the most helpful crew around, going beyond beyond.
One more note... they've assigned someone to monitor an email that you can write to if your post doesn't get a response. It's in the forum, a sticky post at the top.
Can anyone follow up with more specific instructions on what else needs to be done if the site is installed "Theme Only"?

Thank you for your response.
